Powers of Internals

I read something on people choosing to opt out of life when thing are difficult. I then ask myself how many people did I ever hear that decided to opt out when things were too easy; when life was great and full of joy. Obviously someone who does so will be labeled crazy (insane) but I cannot help but realize how selfish we really are in life. We do things according to when it benefits us, not too often do we do things because it is the right thing or because its just to do so. We are many time patient and nice people when we benefit (when it makes us feel good to be nice and patient).

In this you can find the greatest argument about man and God. If there were no God, would one (people) still be kind to others? If there were no Heaven, what would be our motivation to be just/ kind and such?

Argument on being a kind person. Can we say that someone who is nice to others benefit from this simply by the good feeling they get from being kind? Does that mean, he/ she has obtained their rewards? It could, but it's not good to look at it in that way....

Learn to be good for you (without any outside forces) and we can stop living like children awaiting reward of candy and get what is much better; internal rewards.
