I wasn't that bad...

When we do wrong, we often tell ourselves that it wasn't that bad or someone did worse. It is wrong to determine how bad what you did until you see and feel what it has done to someone. You are not the judge of how bad what you did is, others (and people you have hurt) are the one to determine.



Did you parents let you punish yourself based on the mistakes you made? Do the law lets you punish yourself based on your actions (that wen against the law)?



The idea is if you are sorry, then you must find the person/ people you have hurt and see and feel their pain. This will ensure that you will look for forgiveness (through them and not through self). Also that you will do your best to not let it happen again
